Dear patient,

I trust this message finds you well. We want to bring to your attention an ongoing challenge we’ve observed concerning stimulant shortages, particularly with medications like generic Vyvanse. Many patients have reported difficulties obtaining medications from some local and mail-order pharmacies. HEB communicated stock shortages until April 2024. Some mail-order pharmacies have been unable to fill 90-day supplies due to stock shortages.
To ensure you receive your medication promptly, we kindly request that you proactively contact your designated pharmacy to verify their current stock of your prescribed medication. In the event they are experiencing shortages, please let us know, and we’ll make arrangements to send the prescription to an alternative pharmacy that you designate.
After the initial submission of the prescription, we will resend the prescription once without a fee. However, a $35 fee for any subsequent transfer to an additional pharmacy will be implemented. We understand the inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we navigate these challenges together.
